Mindset, Modern Spirituality, Strategy + Me

Updated: Apr 5

Writing your very first blog post for a brand spankin' new blog is slightly intimidating. There are so many things I want to write about mindset, modern spirituality and how they jive with strategy. But since is the inaugural post, I thought I'd share a little bit about how I got here.

International Women's Business Summit in Belfast

Most people know me

Most people know as the girl on stage in this picture. Corporate consultant, keynote speaker, expert strategist. And I am all of those things. However, over the course of The Year the Earth Stood Still, I had several moments of clarity around what is truly important to me. And while I love all the things the girl in that picture gets to do, I've got a bigger calling to answer.

The part of me that I've never shared or talked about much is my deeply spiritual beliefs and connection. Which is weird considering, they've been a part of my life since 1989.

Here's what I know for sure: everything significant I have in my life - my children, my career, my book, my friends, my family - all of it is possible because of the spiritual alignment work that I do every single day. Without it....I don't even want to think about where I'd be without it.

Add to that, my deep interest in how this pandemic has impacted women - across the board. I'm especially interested in how it's impacted high-achieving women, who were so busy rushing from thing to thing before COVID that they didn't have time to notice how they felt about their lives. When all that the busy-ness came to a screeching halt, they came face-to-face with reality.

These women, who look so successful and so accomplished, have found themselves in lives that just don't work. Unhappiness, disconnection, loneliness and so many other overwhelming feelings have taken hold and there seems to be no way out.

This is my bigger calling. I want women to create extraordinary lives they are madly in love with. I want women to be the happiest they've ever been in their whole lives. And by combining my love for strategy and my passion for spirituality into a modern approach - what I call Modern Spirituality - I can help make that happen.
