She Speaks Intensive Cohort Membership:
Creating Your Talk That Matters

Give a talk that changes lives, including yours.

How would it feel to confidently and elegantly give a talk that matters  - to you, to your audience and to the world around you?

Not one they only half listen to, but the one they remember, playing it over and over in their heads (or watching it over and over because you so smartly recorded it)?

What would it mean to you to have audience members line up to talk to you after you deliver it, to tell you how much your talk mattered to them? To have your colleagues tell you that you made an impact? To have potential funders tell you that you that your start-up excites them?

The talks that truly make an impact on us are the talks that transfix us from beginning to end, the talks we tell our colleagues and clients about, the talks we send to friends over and over again.

These are the talks that compel us to learn more about the speaker and how we can work more closely with them.

These are the talks that inspire us to do more, know more, be more.

This is the talk you will create as a member of the She Speaks Creating Your Talk That Matters Intensive Cohort.

Thought Leaders

Creating a talk that influences others to know more, do more

and be more doesn’t happen in a weekend.

A talk that matters to you and to others isn’t written from a template or created using a boilerplate method.

So how do you start? Creating a talk of any kind can be daunting and crafting a talk that delivers your message with authority and impact may seem impossible. This is why so many speakers either rely on a cookie-cutter approach or “wing it”, hoping for the best. These shortcuts may seem like a solution in the short run, but they are why so many speakers, and the talks they give, fall short of all they could be.

You deserve better.

Your message deserves better.

Your audience deserves much, much better.

When you deliver your Talk That Matters, you change people,

including yourself.

What would it feel like to…

Hear from audience members that your talk was a game changer for them?

Get an email that says, “Your inspired me, You  helped me, It's like you knew exactly what I needed.”

To look out on a packed room of people waiting to hear your message, knowing that your words will capture their attention and help them know more, do more and be more?

What would it mean to you to…

Feel 100% confident in every word you’ve chosen for your talk?

Know that you’ll be compelling, captivating, and in command every moment that you speak?

Own the room, the stage or your seat at the table?

When you commit to crafting your Talk That Matters, you take the first step in creating a new persona for yourself, one in which your words and ideas play a starring role and you speak with influence, authority and impact.

Oh – and your audience, whether it’s made up of 5 or 5000 people, will happily propel you, and your message, forward wherever you’d like to go.

Crafting and delivering a Talk That Matters requires focused effort. You, your audience, and your message are worth that effort.

Your future is worth that effort.

You can deliver a Talk That Matters.

You want to make the effort, but you’re not sure if you’re ready. It’s not the work that’s holding you back. It’s…

All the things you don’t know about what goes into a powerful talk

And all the things you don’t know about how to prepare

Doubts about your idea or your message

Worries that you won’t be able to shake those crippling nerves

Fears that no one will want to listen

Sometimes, these questions, doubts, worries and fears cause speakers - especially female speakers -to settle for less than they and their audience deserve. They decide to “just do what I've always done,” and then feel disappointed because they know they could’ve been so much better.

As a professional public speaker and executive public speaking coach, I’ve seen this happen too many times to count, and it breaks my heart every time.

You can do this. You just need an approach that works. You need to master the mindset of great speakers. You need a repeatable structure and process that you can use again and again. You need support and feedback as you work through the preparation and rehearsal process. And instead of a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all public speaking program, you need coaching that is designed specially for high-performing women and customized to fit you, your style, your message and your audience like a glove.

For more than fifteen years, this is what I’ve done, I’ve worked with speakers at every level, selected speakers for events, sat at the board table, moderated the panels, and listened to the pitches.  I’ve seen speaking from every possible angle, and I’ve experienced a lot.  My “ring-side seat” on both sides of the table means I know the challenges and I know how to navigate them as you become the compelling, captivating and in-command speaker you want to be.

This in-depth knowledge and experience is what I currently give my private clients. And this is what I will give to 12 members of the Creating Your Talk That Matters Intensive Cohort.

Hi, I'm Sarah Robinson.

I've spent more than half my life on a stage.  I professionally trained at the National Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, DC.  I've won theatre awards and been in critically acclaimed movies.  I've delivered keynotes all over the world, appeared on national television, and I've curated speakers for TEDx and moderated panels for national and international events

Professional, executive level public speaking and communication is my super power. Fortune 100 companies hire me to work with their c-suite executives and leadership teams. Founders hire me to strengthen their internal and external pitches.  Professional speakers hire me to help them bring a performance-based approach and flair (think TED) to their keynotes.

They think of me as their best kept secret weapon (which is why you won't see most of my clients talking about me).

Being a confident, compelling and in-command speaker isn't magic.  It takes commitment and dedication, AND it's absolutely doable for anyone.  You just need to know how it's done.

Lucky for you, you now know me. I have the inside knowledge, training and experience to help you craft and deliver your Talk That Matters so that you expand your influence, magnify your authority and maximize your impact.

If you're ready to own the room, the stage and your seat at the table, I'll help you get there.

I'll share all of my knowledge and expertise with you in our first She Speaks Intensive that begins January 15, 2021.

This intensive can:

Help you decide exactly what you want your talk to do for you and for your audience. This decision will drive every other choice you make, giving your talk laser sharp clarity.

Guide you through the overwhelm of crafting, preparing and delivering your talk.  You'll learn a repeatable, step-by-step process that you will use for every talk, speech or presentation you ever give.

Give you the support, coaching and direction you need as you develop a talk that helps your audience know more, do more and be more; a talk your audience remembers, and talk that will take you wherever you want to go..

When you care enough to craft a talk that truly matters, you bring about all of the changes you want to see in your own life. I’ll show you how.

The She Speaks Creating Your Talk That Matters Intensive Cohort is a 12-week LIVE public speaking and talk development experience. Application is open to female executives, thought leaders, founders and speakers at any stage.

Each cohort is limited to 12 members so that I can give my best to each participant and so that close knit relationships can develop.

In Creating Your Talk That Matters, I’ll walk you through the process I use, and teach my private clients, to craft and deliver a talk that matters to you and, more importantly, matters to your audience. I’ll also give you an all-access “backstage” pass to EVERYTHING I know about speaking and as well as bonus access to some of my favorite colleagues and experts.

This is NOT a self-directed video course.

This is a live cohort, which means we are in this together.

So that I can give as much value as possible while building on the individual goals and strengths of each cohort member, I’ve created this program with the best of private coaching and group coaching benefits.

Here’s what’s included:

Three 50 minute private coaching sessions with Sarah to be used throughout the program.

speaking game.

All the Benefits included in the Supporting Membership Level.

Why a live group intensive instead of a video course?

Because I want you to have the support and feedback you need so you can craft and deliver your Talk That Matters.

Your talk is important and I want you professionally coached so you deliver with elegance and ease. To make that happen, I’ve put as much value as I can think of into this Create Your Talk That Matters Cohort Intensive.  Similar programs carry price tags of $7500, $10,000, even $15,000+.  I don’t want to do that.

One of the reasons I created the She Speaks Membership Program in the first place is so that this kind of executive level coaching is accessible and affordable for more women.  With that in mind, I’ve set the investment for the Cohort Membership Level at $4000.

For those who decide this Intensive Membership is the right thing for them right now,

I'm offering special pricing to the Founding She Speaks Cohort that begins January 15, 2021:

$2750 when paid in full upon acceptance

Or

5 monthly payments of $650 that begin upon acceptance.

To apply:

I'm carefully curating each cohort in order to create the very best intensive experience for everyone.  In order to do that, I've created a very simple application process designed to help me get to know you and help you get to know me. Here's how it works:

Step One: Send me a 2-5 minute video telling me about your talk idea and share why being a part of this cohort intensive appeals to you.  Send it to Sarah@SarahRobinson.com and put "Cohort Application" in the subject line.

Note: This is not an audition, so your video does not have to be perfect. It just has to be you :-)

Step Two: If it seems like we could be a good fit, I'll invite you to a private conversation so we can get to know each other better, I can answer your questions and together we'll decide if the Intensive Cohort is the best next step for you.

Step Three: Based on that joint decision, you'll receive your invitation to join the cohort and a payment link.  Your seat is secured once your payment is received.

My clear promise

I've been around the block - at least a million times - and I've run across more pie-in-the-sky coaching program promises than I can even count.  And I've asked for refunds on these programs because there's nothing I hate more than coaches who mislead people about results.

So, I want to be really clear on what I am and am not promising as part of this cohort.

I'm not promising that you will have a fully baked, rehearsed and ready for the big stages talk completely ready to go at the end of this program. I'm not promising you'll get accepted to give a TEDx Talk, that your pitch will win the next competition, or that your next board presentation will win you that promotion,

Creating a Talk That Matters is a creative process, which means it takes time to refine and rehearse you're full talk into all that it can be.  Some of you may finish an entire first draft of your Talk and be well on your way to getting the whole thing up on it's feet in the rehearsal process.

At this point you may be thinking "Well that's great, Sarah. What ARE you promising?"

I'm promising that you will learn what it takes to craft and deliver your Talk That Matters.  You'll learn a repeatable structure and content building process for crafting every talk you'll ever give so it lands powerfully with your audience. You'll learn how to prepare and rehearse so you feel confident and at ease, even when the stakes are high.  And by honing and rehearsing even a segment of your talk, you'll know what it takes to give a Talk that Matters - to you, to your audience and to the world around you.

Here are a few more highlights. In this intensive, you’ll learn how to…

Develop a compelling message that draws your ideal audience into your talk and keeps them engaged

Establish a connection with your audience from the moment you begin to speak.

Create an outline of your Talk that supports your message and speaks directly to the interests and needs of your audience.

Organize your Talk content and learn how to source new content in an efficient way so you don’t waste precious time and energy.

Avoid death by powerpoint and other data dumps that make your audience yawn.

Map out your personal story and decide which parts to share and where to share them so that you are serving your message and your audience.

Take your Talk to the next level by learning the preparation and rehearsal process used by great leaders and keynote speakers.

Work with a small group of peers throughout the intensive and learn how to give and receive feedback that is constructive and useful.

Balance great storytelling with facts, figures, case studies and other key elements that will set you and your Talk apart.

If you have a Talk That Matters inside you, a Talk that helps others know more, do more and be more, I want to help you craft and deliver that Talk with influence, authority and impact.

I want to give you all the knowledge and expertise I’ve gained from all of my experiences – as a keynote speaker, as an executive speaking and communication coach, as a TEDx curator, as a speaker selector – all of it. I want to inspire you to think of yourself as more than as someone who “wings it”, or who spends weeks stressing about what to say and how to say it, or who sits down after every talk, disappointed because you know it could’ve been so much better. And you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Commit to a higher standard, to crafting your talk and learning to deliver it in a way that people remember and talk about long after your moment in the spotlight.

Commit to creating a talk that connects with your audience and speaks to their specific wants and needs.

Commit to becoming a compelling, captivating, and in-command speaker who truly changes your world and those who are in it.

Commit to learning how to do all of this as you craft and deliver Your Talk that Matters.

Your talk can be the one that matters - to you and those who hear it. Or it can be the one that is quickly forgotten by everyone.

The choice is yours.

You can craft and deliver a talk that influences and inspires others.  I can show your how.
